UF clarification systemSUF system
SUF system is a water clarifier which replaces existing coagulating sedimentation or sand filtration. The UF membrane used is accredited as the membrane module for water supply by Association of Membrane Separation Technology, Japan, and it is used for disinfection and clarification of river water, well water, industrial water, sea water and so forth.
Features of SUF system
- Ultrafiltration membrane is used.
- It is possible to remove turbidity components, pathogenic protozoans including Cryptosporidium, bacteria, viruses and others. (If it is used for disinfection, it is necessary to add means to prevent secondary pollution on the filtered water side.)
- Daily maintenance is easy.
- Since cellulose acetate is used, adhesion of turbidity components is small, and it is possible to acquire high permeability. By the automatic periodic back washing mechanism, it is possible to stabilize permeability for a long term.
- Pursuit of cost reduction (FN20)
- Especially, it is possible to separate the hollow fiber membrane from the housing as a cartridge on "FN20". Therefore, it is possible to reduce wastes at the time of maintenance.
