Treating obtained groundwater to meet the quality standards of tap water

The HGW series is a system that treats groundwater to meet the quality standards of city water (tap water) or higher. This system removes iron and manganese from feed water pumped from deep wells, then filters it through activated carbon, and finally filters it through the UF membrane module to remove not only fungi but also viruses. The system is ideal for food factories that use a large amount of tap water and general hospitals that need to secure safe water in case of a disaster. It removes not only iron and manganese unique to groundwater, but also bacteria and viruses. Our product lineup is available with three-stage models according to the water production volume.

    Replacement for consumables and inspection on behalf of customers reduces labor hours required for management on the customer-side.
    It also has a remote monitoring function, with which peace of mind is assured in case of trouble.

    Adding chlorine to groundwater

    This ensures efficient mass production and stable quality.

    Removal of iron and manganese

    The system filters and removes iron and manganese flocculated by chlorine.

    Absorption and filtration with activated carbon

    Impurities such as chromaticity, turbidity, and organic matter are adsorbed and removed by activated carbon.

    Filtration with UF membrane module

    The UF membrane (ultrafiltration membrane) module, which is also used in water purification plants, removes bacteria and viruses.

    Chlorine injection to meet tap water quality standards

    Chlorine is injected so that the residual chlorine concentration meets the value (0.1 mg/L or more) specified by the Water Supply Act.

  • 6

    Periodic backwashing

    The pretreatment filter tower and the UF membrane module are periodically backwashed automatically.
