Contributing to manufacturing of advanced pure water used in manufacturing processes
The pure water production system RO series for industrial use was developed based on an artificial dialysis water reverse osmosis (RO) system, which is widely used at medical sites. This system treats feed water equivalent to tap water to achieve a conductivity of 2.1 μS/cm or less and a 95% reduction in endotoxin*1 in order to produce “purified water”*2 that meets the standards of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, which is so called pyrogen-free water. The configuration of “Pretreatment + RO membrane module + UF membrane module” produces purified water from which not only fungi but also pyrogens and endotoxins have been removed. All equipment required for pure water supply is packaged into a unit, eliminating the need to select detailed specifications. Our product lineup can be selected according to the water production volume. And, options are available according to the water quality required.
- *1 A measured value when tap water is used as feed water. It is not a guaranteed value. It may vary depending on the feed water quality or the system specifications.
- *2 The treated water quality conforms to the Standards for Purified Water of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia Eighteenth Edition.

Flow Diagram of RO series
Optional Specifications
-
Reuse of concentrated wastewater by adding UF membranes
The UF membrane module purifies the water concentrated by the RO membrane module to return it to the feed water tank. About 30% of tap water is saved.
-
Adding UF membranes to pretreatment
Adding a UF membrane module before the water softener extends the expected service life of the RO membrane module.
-
Adding a hot water disinfection function
The system has heat resistance, which allows for hot water disinfection within the dotted line area.
-
Adding an EDI/Ion exchange tower
Adding an EDI or Ion exchange tower after the RO water tank further enhances the water quality.
