SUF system

Simple membrane treatment unit suitable for sterilization and clarification

The SUF system is a water clarifier, which replaces conventional coagulation sedimentation and sand filtration. The UF membranes used are certified as a tap water membrane module by the Association of Membrane Separation Technology of Japan (AMST), and is utilized for disinfection and clarification of river water, well water, industrial water, seawater, etc.

Features

  • Using ultrafiltration membranes

    It is possible to remove turbidity components, pathogenic protozoans including Cryptosporidium, bacteria, viruses, etc.
    (For sterilization, it is necessary to take measures to prevent secondary contamination on the filtered water side.)

  • Daily maintenance is easy

    Since cellulose acetate is used, the adhesion of turbidity components is small, and high permeability can be obtained.
    The automatic periodic backwashing mechanism can secure long-term stable permeability.

  • Pursuit of cost reductions (FN20)

    In the case of FN20 models, the hollow fiber membranes contained in a cartridge can be separated from the housing.
    Therefore, waste reduction during maintenance is possible.
