MSS series
For various liquid treatment processes, including filtration, separation, concentration, and purification
We have released simple membrane treatment systems with a single UF membrane module.
These are entry-level models of membrane treatment systems developed by DAICEN, which has specialized in organic separation membranes for more than half a century.
Customers who have confirmed the applicability of membrane treatment through small-scale evaluations are encouraged to use the MSS series as the next step in their evaluation. It can be used not only for continuous research and evaluation, but also for low-volume production.
Mechanism
The MSS series is capable of handling all kinds of liquid treatment processes, including concentration, separation, purification, and filtration.
The role of each line within the system varies depending on the desired treatment operation.
Concentration
Only substances larger than the molecular cut-off of the separation membranes remain , while small impurities such as ions and water molecules are removed. This results in the concentration of only large substances.
Separation
By using a separation membrane module with a molecular cut-off suitable for separating the desired substances, substances mixed in a liquid are separated based on their size differences.
Purification
By adding water to the undiluted solution to keep the polymer on the concentrated liquid side, ions and low-molecular-weight substances are permeated to the filtrate side to increase the purity of the polymer.
Filtration
The separation membrane treatment in the UF range removes polymeric impurities, turbidity, bacteria, and viruses, enabling clarification and disinfection of the filtrate.

Manual operation for versatile applications
Highly versatile and adaptable for various treatment processes! Also ideal for research environments where operating conditions need to be adjusted for verification.
Can also be used as a whole quantity filtration device by closing the valve.- *If an automatic operation model is needed, it is available for an additional fee.

Cross-flow filtration equipment utilizing advantages of hollow fiber membranes
Due to the scraping effect of the internal pressure hollow fibers, the membranes are unlikely to clog.

Single-membrane-module system suitable for introducing membrane treatment for the first time
Space-saving with a minimum of 1m × 1m.
Portable system with casters, enabling movement according to the application. -

Cost savings were realized by adopting a standard component design.
